In 2023, it was announced that LPP Holding a.s., a Czech company, would be entering a partnership with Israeli arms company Elbit systems. A news article on LPP's website said that the centre would “focus on the production and development of drones, including training of personnel.” [1]
Production of drones was set to begin in two years time nearly three years ago. The location of the facility was later confirmed to be the T-CZ, a company owned by LPP Holding a.s., facility in Pardubice. [2]
